THE SALVATIONISTS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—On reading your paragraph, re Salvationists income, I was much struck by the difference between their income and our other ministers. All profess to be followers of the lowly Jesus. Yet our ministers must have a line house, fine furniture, and at least £i for ono day's work a week, and yet they profess to be followers of the lowly and humble Jesus, who preached every day and had no home. Is it a wonder there are bo many sceptics and infidels?— Yours truly, Not a Salvationist. Hamilton, September 4th, 1888.
