HAMILTON ROAD BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Hamilton Road Board was held on Saturday last Messrs Jones (chairman), Atkinson and Way being present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Chairman laid the plans of the proposed cuttings at Partington's Hill on the old Whatawhata Road before the Board. In discussing the matter Mr Atkinson said he thought it would be better to let the consideration of the proposed work stand over until there would be a full meeting of the Board, this was agreed to. The Clerk was instructed to give Mr Gribble notico to clear the furze oiF the roais bounding bis property, also _ to keep his pigs from running on the district roads. Accounts were held over to the next meeting-
