THE DAIRY INSPECTOR'S VISIT TO WAIKATO.
(BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, Friday. Mil McCallcm, Inspector of Dairies, arrived in Auckland yesterday, and left this afternoon for Waikato, taking the various settlements en route. The Government notified the County Councils that Mr McCallum would visit any district where his services wore desired to give hints 011 dairying, but, up to the present, only Tauranga has applied. Letters addressed to him to the Post-office, Hamilton, will be attended to on Mr McCallum's arrival thsre. He proposes visiting the various factories in Waikato.
