SAD DEATH OF SEDDON, THE ENGLISH FOOTBALLER.

(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH,—COPV'RIGHT). Sydney, August 15. Sedbon, the captain of the English football team, was drowned in the Hunter river at Maitland this afternoon. He had gone out rowing in an out-rigger, which capsized with him, and before any assistance could be rendered he sank. He was a native of Lancashire, and only 2G years of age. August 17. Mr Seddmi, late captain of the English football team, was buried at Maitland yesterday. The ceremony was of an imposing character. A fund has been started with the objcct of placing a memorial stone over his grave.
