FIRE AT CAMBRIDGE.

« A fruit store in Victoria-street, Cambridge, was burnt to the ground soon after midnight on Thursday. The store was owned and occupied by Airs Dore, and we learn it is insured. The (ire is supposed to have arisen through sticks being put in front of the fire to dry. The occupants were awakened by the wood cracking, and they only had time to save but very little furniture. The Colonial Bank was in great danger for a time, as the trees between that and the burning building caught fire, and burnt fiercely, but luckily the wind was not blowing Quite in that direction, or nothing could have saved it.
