MINERS' STRIKE.

[by ELECTRIC telegraph.—copyright.] Newcastle, August 14. A foutxigiit's notice of a general strike has been given by the miners. There are forty-six foreign vessels in port awaiting cargoes of coal, but the miners have intimated to the masters that they will only be able to coal twenty vessels before the time expires for their going out on strike. Adelaide, August 14. If the Newcastle miners go out on strike trade here will be paralysed, as there are no available coal supplies on hand.
