WESLEYAN CHURCH EXPENSES.
TO THE EDITOR. Sib, —In reference to tlie letters from " Wesleyan Sympathiser" and "Wesleyan," re the Wesleyan Church, I can fully ngree with both, nnd I think that we, as a people, should try and call a meeting to frame some kind of rules for our own guidance, for I cannot see why the Conference or any other body should dictate to us what we are to do as regards church and other matters in connection with same. If we pay for a minister I cannot see why we should pay to fetch him and family from wherever he is sent from, if the Conference, in their wisdom, think fit to change every three years they are the body who should pay the expenses of the same, and not the circuit to which he is sent, —I am, youra, &c., E. T. Davey.
