FLOODS IN ENGLAND.
(BY KLKCTIIIC TKI.KGKAI'II. —COI'VHIOHT). London, August 5. Owing to recent heavy rain the low lying lands and tenements round the city are submerged by floods. Trulnuon the railways has boon blocked and great distress prevails in many quarters. Hundreds of .animals were drowned, and several large breweries flooded out. Subscriptions have been raised for the relief of the sufferers. 'Dig weather has now cleared.
