THE MESSAGE TO THE QUEEN
SMART WORK. (by electric telegraph:,— copyright). Melbourne July 3. The cablegram sent by the Governor to the Queen announcing the opening of the Exhibition contained 111 words. The actual time occupied in the transmission of the message from the time it left Melbourne to its delivery in England was 36 minutes.
