The Education Board to-day discussed the articles published in recent issues of the New Zealand Mail ami Times, alleging immorality in tho public schools, and resolved that the allegations were untrue, and wore a gross libel mi the community. Mr Jellicoe, on behalf of the Italian Consul, will apply in Chambers on Friday next for a writ of h.ibsas corpus to compel the gaoler to bring up the man (iasparini before the judge of the Supreme Court to show under what authority he is held by the Crown.
