Otiß Paeroa correspondent informs u that a large quantity of Waikato produce is being sold by auction at that place, realising good prices. Waikato fruit trees have been selling well, apples bringing an average of 4Jd ; pears, 5Jd ; aud plums, 6kl each. Cheese and saddlery from this district have also brought good prices. It 13 very satisfactory to be told of such excellent results, and great credit is due to Mr Edwards, the spirited auctioneer of Paeroa, for the efforts he has made to encourage a direct trade between his side of the country and Waikato. It is only reasonable to expect that thero will be a considerable trade in the future in Waikato farm and industrial products, Te Aroha, Paeroa, and kindred places being natural markets in which to dispose of them.
