PAUPER IMMIGRANTS.
[By Electric Telegraph.— Copyright.) Melbourne, July 23. Thk Trades and Labour Council made a representation to the Government protesting against the reported intention of the English authorities to send paupers to the colonies. Organisations throughout the colonies will be invited to co-operate in making a continued protest against the course indicated.
