[BY TISLKGJIAI'H — I'KKSS ASSOCIATION-! WiSnLiNOTON, Wednesday. The Cable Company lias received information that the cable-repair-ing steamer Recorder has picked up the port Darwin end of the cable, and spoke to tho station this morning. The work of splicing the broken end, it is expected, will be commenced immediately. The Superintendent of the Cable Company sends to the Press Association that Port Darwin advices that communication with Europe has been restored.
