SUICIDE AT WAITOA.
A young man named Thomas Craven committed suicide by hanging himself at Waitoa on Wednesday last. It is not known what led to the rash act Deceased was in fair circumstances, Wt his acquaintances noticed that for some days previously he seemed to be in low spirits and absent in mind ; although after consulting a medical man, he seemed much better. An inquest was held yesterday before Mr Searancke, and a verdict of " Temporary insanity " returned.
