The petition of the undersigned resident Householders of the Alexandra Town District Sheweth — That whereas, by the 56th section of "The Counties Act, 1856," it is provided that a Town District having less than one hundred resident householders can be merged in the County; And whereas in the Alexandra Town District there are now less than one hundred resident householders ; Therefore your petitioners pray that you will exercise tho powers vested in you by the said sGth section and dissolve the Alexandra Town Board, and merge the Alexandra Town District in the County of Waipa.
