In order to give as much space as possible for the accumulation of cable news, as well as our ordinary telegrams, we have held over the leading article, correspondence, and other matter till next issue. The cable news is not of a startling character. There is nothing whatever referring to the European situation, beyond a small political affair in Bulgaria. No doubt the large batch of telegrams landed at Port Darwin could not be transmitted in time for the full summary for New Zealand being made up and sent through in time for publication this morning.
