Sir John Walsham, Bristish Minister at Pekin, is still parleying with the Chinese Government on the subject. July 3. The representatives of the Chinese in Australia, are urging the Chinese Government at Pekin, to reject any British proposals for regulating the introduction of Chinese in Australia on the lines of the treaty existing between China and America,
