WRITTEN TENDERS will be received up to 10 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, the 13th inst., for Contracts Nos. 1 aud 2, LICHFIELD-TE AROHA ROADNo. J, four miles : No. 2, nine miles in length. Specifications can be seen for both at my office, Hamilton, and at the Oxford Hotel; for No. 1 at Heaney's Hotel, Lichfield ; and for No. 2 at Mr George Walker's residence, close to the northern end of the work. Work consists of Clearing, Forming, Cuttings, Bridges (3), Culverts, Draining. Tenders are to be addressed to " The Clerk Piako County Council, Cambridge," and are to be endorsed "Tender for Contract No. 1 (or 2), Lichfield-Te Aroha Road." Tenders should reach Cambridge on the 12th inst., or they will be late ;. but may be delivered at the Phoenix Hotel, Morrinsville, up to the hour named. T. G.
