The Liberal Unionists have resolved to support the withdrawal of the licensing clauses in the Local Government Bill, provided the Government will allow a debate on Mr J. Cochran Stevenson's Sunday Closing Bill. Mr W. IT. Smith, leader of the House of Commons, has agreed to thr>. proposal.
