Have sold privately during the week, 12 acres swedes. 30s ; 30 acres swedes, £1 per acre ; 50 acres swedes, at tl 14s per acre, and 13 acres aberdeens, at 22s (id per acre ; I} 6 head fat cows at £4 os each ; 25 turnip steers, £3 15s; 30 Hereford heifers 20 mouths old, 22s (id ; 1000 store wethers at 12s. Also a large number of useful horses at rather over late values.

Mk Ali'iikd Buck land's Wkeki.y RerOßT.—At the Haymarket, during the past week, loose fodder advanced in price, and on Tuesday it ranged from la !ld_to 2s 3d the cwt. ; chatf, from £2 us to £2 15s ; bonedust, from £5 to £>7 10a potatoes, £3 the fcou; maize, 3a; oats, Is lid to 2s 2d the the bushel. At the hide and skin sale, on Tuesday, the enquiry was good, and late prices sustained. Heavy ox hides, from to s|d ; medium and light, from 3d to 4Jd ; cow iiiV.es, 2 : |'d to Sgd ; calf skins, 4d tood; pelts and skins, from !)d to 4s 7d each. At the horse sale, on Friday, prices were without alteration from the past few weeks, useful horses, medium-sized, ranging frrun £5 to £12; a Cambridge roller sold for £12; and a spring cart, £11. At the country cattle sales, held respectively at Fokeuo and Drury, stock of all classes were in better inquiry, and advanced in values. At Iveuiuera, on Thursday, dairy cows near calving brought from to fli each. Fat cattle were yarded in full numbers ; best quality only maintained last week's prices, inferior were lower in price. Sheep, abundant, were lower in price about 2s each, particularly wethers, Ewea in lamb were in good enquiry. Wellbred dairy-fed pigs kept their value, but coarse pigs were almost unsaleable, prices being nominal. Some averages obtained, 20 cows, £4 4s ; 15 steers, fill Ss (id ; 48 steers, £'i 18s tid; 35 steers, £0 15s ; 300 .sheep, mixed sexes, 15s; 200 wethers, 14s ; 100 Withers, 15s 8d ; 20li wethers, l(is 2d ; 105 ewes, 14s (id ; IU4 sheep, mixed sexes, 14s 61 respectively. Chatf, £2 10s to £2 12s (id per ton; oats, 2s to 2h .'id; maize, os 3d ; carrots, 30s per ton. Horses: There was a fair muster at the Ptirliam Yards on Friday, and brisk demand, and anything of a good .stamp sold freely. Upstanding hacks, draught horses, and useful farm horses are required, but no improvement on weeds. Hacks, £5 10s to £18 ; light harness, .6(1 Co till ss; draught, t(i to £11 10s. Wool, hides, skin and tallow : At the hide and skin sale on Tuesday a full catal"guo was brought forward. At Newmarket on Tuesday dairy cattle of good quality were scarce, and with few exceptions all found purchasers. Thero exists a good demand for good young animals; stores sold at late values. I'at cattle were in full supply, and though many were not first-class priccs rliownd an upward tendency. Kat cows fetched from £2 10s to £(i 2s (id ; steers, £4 Os to £8 2s (id, or from 15s to 18s per 1001b. Sheep: In nioderato numbers, and brisk demand. Wethers, l is to 18s (id ; ewes, 13s 3d to LSs.
