It is not intended at present to nuke any alterations in the working of the nulls. The timber will still be sawn in the colony. A singular case was heard at the Onehunga Police Court to-day. James Neville was charged with netilectinpf to send Ins son, 1U years old, to school. The defendant said the boy was in employment, and the money he earned was of great assistance, as thi family was very poor. The Court held the charge proved, and ordered the boy to bo sent to school, the defendant to iiay the costs. The case of breaking out of the Thistle Hotel was heard to-day. The accused, \V. A. Croinbio, formerly of Waikato, was further remanded until Saturday Today, being the anniversary of the (Queen's'accession to the Throne, was observed as a Supreme Court holiday, and the case against Asher will be resumed tomorrow morning.
