In the House of Common*, in reply to a question, Baron clc Worms stated that the decision of the Chinese Conference was receiving the earnest attention of the Cabinet. Ajjelaidk, June 10. The leading Chinese here announce that owing to the scant courtesy shown to their commission and communication to the Conference in Sydney they propose to petition the Chinese Government on international as well as personal grounds against the intolerable hardship which would he caused if the proposed Bill became law.
