LiiutAßY Committee.—A public meeting was held on Saturday evening last, in the reading room, for the purpose of electing a new committe, there was a fair attendance, Mr John Anbin was called to tho chair, and the following gentlemen were elected : —Mr John Anbin, chairman and treasurer, Messrs Finch, G. Miles, A. Smith, J. Sage, junr., J. Oarmonsway, J. C. Ogilvie, secretary. The new committee held their first meeting on Monday evening, when it was decided that an entertainment in aid of the funds of the library and reading room should bo Riven, several mnsic.il friends having promised their valuable aid, Messrs Ogilvie, Miles, and Sage, to form a .committee of management.
