Mr Winter, treasurer of the Melbourne branch of the Irish National League, has commenced an action for libel against the Age, which published a letter stating that Winter had not accounted for all the moneys received by him. A commission has been appointed to examine the Treasurer of the League at Dublin, and also Mr C. S. Parnell.
