The Waihito Times' Office, Monday. TK AROHA HORSE MARKET. At the Horse Sale, hold by J. S. Huckland, :it Tβ Aroha, i>n Thursday last, there, was a largo attendance of buyers from all parts of the district, also from I'aeroa and Thames. Many of the animals offered were of a (food class, and sjld freely at fair values, b'ully (iO horses wero submitted to auction, and 3!) wero knocked down to the highest bidder. Prices ranged from £8 to £M fur good sorts, and 14s to 40s for mokos and ponies. A pair of dra.isthts sold at £27. .TIIAMK3. CATTLE MARKET. Banks and Co\s Wkrklv Rkfoht.— The sale at Parawai was held on Wednesday last week, having been changed to that day for the present. There was, however, butlittlo business done, all classes of stock being unusually dull. A. limited number of. fat cattle were sold at prices ranging from £4 to €4 15s for steers, and £2 10s to £2 17s (id for heifers. Also a.few pens of sheep, ewes at 7s (id to 7s Od each, and half-bred wethers at 8s Od. ' CHRISTOHURCH OIiATN AND PRODUCE MARKETS.
