Locaiv Gossip.—Our Skating Rink Olub opened last nigiifc. There was a good attendance, and everything passed off pleasantly, a dance was hold afterwards, at which every nne appeared to thoroughly enjoy tljumselves. The whnln business was under the able condsctorship of Mr E. Jennings, whose name is a sufficient guarantee, that matters of this kind arc carried on in fir.->t-cla.*s style. We have been told that an informal ion has been laid against our host for supplying liquor on Sunday. The action (it the informant is generally condemned, especially by those who ought to know, however, it will all come out in the washing.
