England v. Canterbury. The third match played in New Zealand by the English representatives took place in Lancaster Park, Christchurch, in tho presence of about 6000 people. It was the largest attendance that has ever witnessed a match in Canterbury, and frequently applauded the Englishmen for their brilliant play, and very heartily cheered their own local men when they scored two goals in succession iri the first spell. Thcgame was well contested and ended in a victory for Englaud by 14 points to 0.
