WAITOA ROAD BOARD.
Till", usual monthly meeting (if the Waitoa Road Hoard took place last Saturday. Present : Messrs Ghepmell (chairman), Burnett ;tnd Howell. TkS'PRRS.— For the contract on the Cemetery road eight tenders were received ranging from £13 lOi to £37. The tender of .Tames Parr at £13 10s was accepted. Retort on Proguess of Wokkh.—The Engineer reported that the clearing of 104 chains of drain an'J titree on Tc Kawana road has keen finished. That making i>s chains of road through Bell's to the finger post has been finished and that 18 chains on road leading to Morrinsville is in a forward state. That repaii ing from Waitoa railway station towards Te lvahia has been finished. That gravelling roads in and near Morrinsville and repairing Jonkin's road and main road near Jenkin's are nearly finished. A few other small jobs were also reported as finished. Nkw Works.—The Enginoer was instructed to get a number of small jobs done in various parts of the district. Accounts. —Accounts amounting to £56 3s 5d were passed for payment.
