We remind the public of the treat in store for them to-night, when tlio celebrated American orator, Major Ham , , will deliver one of his popular lectures in the Public Hall, Hamilton. The subject selected for this evening is, "The Great Naval Battles of the American Rebellion," which he has delivered no less than 1000 times in the United States, to large audiences. The stirring scenes and exploits of the contesting forces in the great struggle will We handled in a masterly manner by this accomplished lecturer, and will be presented to his hearers with a. vividness that lend a realistic character to the subject in hand. To-morrow night Major Dane will appear in Cambridge, and deliver his lecture entitled, "The Heroic in Womanhood," which has been pronounced by many critics as the best of his efforts.
