HAMILTON ROAD BOARD.

Thk adjourned monthly meeting of the above Board was held on Sitnrday at the usual hour and place. Present : Messrs Maunder, Booth and Livingstone, lhe minutes of tho previous meeting wero read and confirmed. CoBBBSI'ONiiKNCK. — Correspondence as follows was received and read :— J , mm John Cooni, Esq., Resident Engineer, Kailway department, re the deepening of a culvert sit the railway crossing at the S2i mile post.—From the Postmaster-General, sAsking the remittance of £S2 $•< 3d subsidy. —Fr.im the Waikato Hospital Board, re H. P. McPherson, declining to reconsider their decision airainst his admittance into the Hospital.—From Dr. Carey, asking the Board to lay gravel on tho road leading to his property, ottering to bear half the co«t. —From Mr J, Goodwinoll'eriiiK to keep the road in repair ucnxs the gully at Stokes for £3 10s a year. Letter held over.—l , mm Mr Tames Harkcr, drawing the attention of the Board to the road leading to the Hospital reserve, of which he is lessee, and asking that a small bridge should be erected of ■iome description, as a triHing expense, would make the road passible.
