This Soap, for all kinds of scrubbing purposes, cannot be excelled : it leaves boards as white as snow. It destroys all insect life. As an antiseptic and disinfectant, it is recommended by the leading medical men of the district. All who have tried it continue to use it. Many testimonials have been received, of which the following is a specimen. Try one bar ;it will speak for itself. To be had at all storekeepers : Price 4d per bar. Wholesale from E. J. PEARSON, Hamilton East, Waikato. Waikato District Hospital, Hamilton, N.Z., 12th Nov., 1887. I have much pleasure in certifying to the value aud powerful properties of Mr Pearson's Carbolic Sand Soap. It is extensively used in the wards and offices of the Waikato District Hospital. The carbolic acid contained in it acts as a perfect disinfectant, the sand answers the purposes of a good cleansing agent, and the whole substances are blended together into firm cakes of a very convenient size aud shape. For all domestic purposes I can strongly recommend Mr Pearson's Carbolic Sand Soap, as being a most effective aud economical article, and in houses where enteric or other fevers exist it will be found especially useful. THE NEW ZEALANDER TWINE BINDER. IN asking our friends to buy from New Zealand Makers, wo would point out ii fow of the benefits which would accrue through so doing:. Duplicates would be easier fjnt and generally cheaper; and from the facilities at our disposal—viz., our branches in different parts of Now Zealand. —we can supply any parts of machines from any of these branches at an horn's notice; other makers may, and do claim to be able to do this, but farmers find to their cost, and our experience bears them out, that it CANNOT RE DONE WITH IMPORTED MACHINES. We have known of cases where farmers with a broken down Imported Binder have had to wait a week during the busiest part of harvest time before they got supplied. Had such been a machine of our make, it would have been at work within a few hours. A'l parts of machines are numbered and accurately duplicated, and we challenge comparison with the best imported in that respect; and while asking farmers to purchase our Binder, wo may state that it is now generally recognised that our machine is at least as gwod as the best imported, and MUCH SUPERIOR to many of them in every requisite of a serviceable Binder. We append a few of the many Testimonials received for our Binder; but the best Testimonial is the fact that last year no less than 43 were sold in one district alone. Te Roue West, Waipa, Aug. 11, 1887. The Reaper and Binder 1 bought from you last harvest made very good work on all sorts of ground. I cut some very steep sidlings, the Binder sliding a foot at once, and at the same time cutting and binding a very neat sheaf. Isaac Hodgson. Centre Bush, March 27, 188b'. The Reaper and Binder I purchased from you this season has given me entire satisfaction. I cut and tied 140 acres in 11 days, and made a really good job. She tied well and left a good clean stubble, although some of the crop was very light, and other parts of it were good. I consider your Binder quite equal to any of the imported machines, and much lighter of draught THAN SO J! 10 THAT WERE WORKING IN THE same paddock WITH jiK, I several times worked the same team of three hoi sea the whole day, although I had a spare team beside me. Iliad no steppage from time of starting till I finished, and I am thoroughly satisfied that I have a really good and serviceable machine, and one that will last me a good many seasons.
