A l'TitK broke out in Paris recently at the premises of a poulterer, and a hundred thousand birds are said to have beau burnt to death. An accident occurred on Tuesday on the Brooklyn Elevated Railway. A heavy derrick, which was used to raise some iron girders, fell upon a tramcar which was passing beneath, containing twenty-Kvo passengers. Four were killed and fifteen injured. A number of Fenians and Invincibles held a meeting in New York one Sunday evening, at which the speakers adrocated the use of dynamite, the knife, torches, and other available weapons for the benefit of Ireland. One speaker recommended the destruction of the docks at Liverpool. Messrs A. Jinoklnnd and Co. for their Ohaupo live stock sale, Tuesday, April 21, already advertise nearly 2000 head of cattle,"besides sheep.
