FIRE AT WAVERLY.
[press association.] Wαn<l an I7i, Monday. A fire occurred at Waverly on Saturday night, by which Muir's general store was destroyed. The fire broke out at 10.30 in the upper portion of the building, where the matches and reserve stock were stored. A considerable quantity of the stock was saved. The insurances on the building amount to £750, aud on the furniture i'2so. The National, Colonial, and Imperial have £1000 each on the stock.
