The private sale belli on tho premises of Mr James Wills, at Otiilmliu, (in Wednesday, was very niiiuercusly attended, and satisfactory prices obtained throughout. At Ueniuera, on Thursday, dairy cattlo wore, at late values ; store cattlo in better inquiry. Steers advanced from 2s Ijd to Tμ each. Fat cittle. in full number maintained lii.-t week's values. Steers and barren cows from 13s to 15s tho 1001b. Sheep plentiful ; wethers were better worth than hist week fully Is each. Ewes at last week's values. All pigs sold freely at full values, and well-bred porkers ware short of requirement. MES.IBB Hunter and Nolan's Weekly Rf.I'OKT. —Horse feed, grain, seeds, &c. : Very little has been done, and there has been no noteworthy alteration in value. Horses : Dullness has characterised tho market; the supply has been small, and demand slack. Below an average number were entered for disposal by auction at the Durham Yards on Saturday, competition was slow, and sales hard to eilVct even at prices in favour of tlie purchasers. Wool, hides, skins, and tallow: An average quantity was pitched on Tuesday at the 'Durham Yards : competition was brisk. We quote : O:c hides, at from 4d to 4gd ; cow hides, 'Jid to Jijjd ; calfskins, -Id to ud ; skins, Is (id t" 3s (id. C.ttlu : The supply has been sufficient for requirements, and the previous week's prices have ruled. The Newmarket sale was held on Wednesday, and the supply was consequently not so large as if the sale was held on the regular day. Most of the dairy and store stock having found their way to I'apakura. At the latter place the yards were completely filled, but tho demand was not brisk, and several pens did not change hands, and prices were very fluctuating.
