EASTER DAY.

St. Pkter's Church, Hamilton, was very tastefully decorated with garlands ot evergreens and flowers around the pillars in the body of the Church, the pulpit and front being very neat. The altar was surmounted with a fine collection of llowers ami pot plants. Holy communion was administered at S o'clock, and also after the 11 o'clock service, the Rev. R. O'C. Biggs being the celebrant on each occasion. The volunteers attended church parade in the morning, and in the evening there was a large congregation. S. Mary's (R.C), Hamilton. Mass was celebrated at eleven o'clock by the Rev. Father Fox. who preached an appropriate sermon. Tho alter was tastefully decorated, and the choir sang Gounod's Mass, the organ accompaniments being efficiently played by Miss Cassidy.
