At the Remuera Yards on Thursday, dairy cows near calvincr ranged with quality from £3 to ill! each ; barren cows, from Ins to oOs; yearling heifers, 12s; steers, 17s to IDs; 18-mouths steers of good quality, 27s (id and 303 each. Fat wittlc wore in full number. Steer beef, from 13s to 10s : cow, from 10s to 13s per 1001b. The demand has been rather slack, particularly for those of a poor .stamp, but there was no noteworthy alteration in value. An average number were submitted by auction at th# Durham Yards on Friday. Bidding was fciirly brisk, and most of tfie lots submitted were cleared at the previous week's values. Wool, hides, skins, tallow and bones : A good quantity were pitched at the Durham Yards on Tuesday. Lambwool in bags sold at lijil per lb; ox hides, 4d to 3}i\ per lb; cow, 3d to 3.M per lb ; calfskins, -ljjd to od per lb : indifferent sheepskins, Is !)d to 3s 0d ; tallow, £10 to £13 ; bones, £4 15s per ton ; horns, Hd per set. Cattle : The supply has been about an average on?, with no noteworthy alteration in values. An average number were yarded at Newmarket on Tuesday. Competition was steady for all descriptions throughout the sale. Inferior dairy cows were a shade lower in value. Fat cows advanced slightly in ralue, but other descriptions were unaltered. Sheep : There was a tolerably good muster at New market'on Tuesday.
