Tiie usqa.l monthly meeting of this ljoard was held at the Council Chambers qn Tuesday evening, there being present • Messrs R. F. Sandes (in the chair), Salmon and Missen. A letter was read from Mr Knox, apologising for his absence. Domain Leases.—The following letter was read:—To the chairman of the Hamilton Domain Board Sir, We, the undersigned, beg to solicit a favour from yonr Board. First: Has Mr Hugh Kelly complied with the conditions of his lease of his Domain Boar:! lot. Sccond : If not, will yoij compel him to do so. Our reason for asking this favour is that he is poinding our cattle if they get on the land, and also it is not fair to us who have potuplied with the conditions of onr lease in feijcipg, ko. W , Mantelow, senr., Mr B. Roach, R. Ryan, and G. Bygrave.—The clerk was instructed to forward a copy of this letter to Mr Kelly, asking for his explanation hefote the matter is dealt with. Annual Accounts.—The statement of receipts and expenditure for the year ending December 31st, ISS7, 'was returned, having been passed by the auditor.
