Sojiehody describes a horse so poor that his owner had tied a knot in his tail to keep the body from slipping through the collar in ptoing down hill. This is how a Dakota paper puts it :— " 4 man living about twelve miles from here died from poisoning yesterday afternoon. It seems he ate a lunch, which had been wrapped up in a copy of our loathed anddiagusting contemporary, and the venom killed him ! Take warning !'
