(By TKLKGIUPJI.—OWX COKKKSPOXDICNT.) Auckland, Friday. Dk J'fni-K Lewis has written a long letter to the City Council dealing with the present epidemic of typhoid fever, and strongly urging the Council to mal;o a thorough systematic and seientic investigation into the cause of our annual epidemic.
