PUKEKURA ROAD BOARD.

A mkktinc; of the above Board was held at the PuUerimu school house on Friday evening, - Jiml March Present: Messrs J. Gaiio (chairman), A. Wallace and R. Fisher. The mimites of the previous meeting were read and coniirnu'd. There was * no correspondence.—The Chairman drew attention to the station road, and said that about six feet of earth work should be put on each side of the gravel to widen the road, and to prevent the gravel from being washed away.— It was resolved that tenders be invited for widening and forming, the trustees to show work on Tuesday, 13th inst., at 11 a.m. It was resolved that about four chains of fencing be done at the bridge on the Pukekura redoubt road.—lt was resolved that about 15 chains of formation be done on the road adjoining town belt, also about 15 chains in Thomson-street. —Mr Fisher proposed to get a few loads of gravel put on the hill iu Thompson-street, as authorised to be done at a previous meeting.—The clerk was instructed to prepare a report for the next meeting of the amount of expenditure , , in the township of Cambridge West for the p:ist year, also for the various district roads'.—Aeeouuts amounting to £12 u's Gd were passi/d for payment.
