At the Trades Congress, Mr Seymour, representing New Zealand, moved the inclusion of the Seamen's Union under the Employer's Liability Act, which was carried unanimously. A resolution was passed emphatically protesting against the Chinese being allowed to enter North Australia, and insisting on their exclusion from AustraliaMklrourxe, March 3. It has been determined by a committee appointed for the purpose, to present their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales with a piece of plate valued at £500, in commemoration of their silver wedding. A collision has occurred on the Boxhill line. Several trucks ran into a passenger train. The former were smashed up, but no serious casualties have occurred.
