There was .t capital iiLteiiclanco, amongst those present being His Excellency the Governor (Sir Henry Loch), and Lord Carrinprton, Governor of New South Wales. Tiio course was very fast, and the feature of the racing was the success of the Hon. Jus. White's colours, whose string secured the first four events, T. Hales riding the winner in each event.
