S. Mark's Church.—At the last annual meeting of the congregation of S. Mark s a general wish was expressed that the valuahle services rendered to the Church by Miss Elizabeth McClatchey, who for a length of time has gratuitously officiated as organist, should in some form be recognised. A committee was appointed to carry out the desire of the congregation, and a suitable gift was chosen in the shape of a handsome inlaid work-box and jewel-case. The presentation was made in thu Church by the Rev. J. Marshall after the service last Wednesday evening, when, in a few hap-pily-chosen sentences, he made reference to the zealous manner in which the fair and youthful recipient had at all times performed her aelf.impoaed duties, at the same time bestowing upon her a weli-deseryed eulo, gism for her enthusiasm and ability as a musician. • Domain Board.—The monthly meeting of the Domain Board was held on Saturday evening. Present: Messrs Gavin (chairman), Ahier, Wilson and Ilott. The minutes if the previous ordinary and special meqtings were confirmed. A letter was read from Major Tisdall, intimating that he had audited the accounts of the Board, and expressing satisfaction with the manner in which the books had been kept. The secretary's statement showed the receipts from the baths for the four weeks ending March 3rd to be £57, and the balance in the bank, including that amount, to be £117 6s 3d. A sum of £4 Is was stated to be due for water taken between November 21st and February 30th by tho company, \yhich has the right to the overflow Iron) the springs. Mr Wilson wasempowered to employ estra labour to improve the roads and paths in the domain, and Messrs Gavin and Ilott were deputed to confer with the proprietors of the Hot Springs Hotel, re drain running through the grounds. The following accounts were passed for payment':—Wages, £11; D, J. Frazer, £2 11s 2d ; R. Harris, £1;T. Hood, 12s; C. Ahier, 16s. 7d; J. Currie, £1 sa.
