(l!Y TELK3KAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, Monday. Mb J. W. Walker, who is well-known on all gold-fields, has returned from England in the Rimutaka. He has just succeeded in floating a company in London to work the Waihi Mine, and comes entrusted with ample capital and the necessary authority for commencement of operations. Machinery of the most improved description has been purchased for use in connection with the mine, and the first instalment will arrive by the s.s. Coptic, a fortnight hence. Mr Walker left for Auckland t.o-day.
