The little book contains a good deal ot useful information, relating to the exteut of dairying in all its phases in Canada, with extracts from reports issued by the Western Dairymen's Association, Ontario, and also from reports by the Highland Society on cheese-making, etc., extracts from the journal of the Royal Agricultural Society and other works bearing on fresh butter, dairy-cattle management, milk condensation and dairy production, etc., in Europe and other countries, and on the cost and results of establishing a :airy factory in this colony. In view of the important positiou the dairy is des uned t,o assume amongst our local indus tries, it is satisfactory to find the Legislate interesting itself in the question and providing itself with reliable information ..ii ihe subject.
