Milch Cows : A vcry'largo number was torward at our sale yards to-day, but the attendance of both the trade and private buyers was exceedingly good, causing a brisk market and enabling us to clear tho lot at. very satisfactory figures. We quoto best lambs, 8s to <Js lid ; others, from 4s Od up. Pigs: There was again a smaller supply than usual this week, and prices were fully maintained. Small and medium sizes in prime porkers arc selling exceedingly well just now, and we recommend senders to forward that are ready for the market. Wo quote — heavy, 3Jd to-H per lb; medium, 4 : } dto od per lb ; light, to Gd per lb ; store pigs, Gd to 22s (>d each. Horses : We report the market largely supplied with horses since the commencement of the present year, with large numbers coming forward during this and the following week. We sold, at the bazaar, from 3rd inat. up to date—3B heavy draught mares and geldings from £21 5s to £o4 ; .jo medium mares and geldings from Mo IDs to £19 15s ; 315 horses of a van and bus description, at from £12 10s to £21 ; -4 high-classed saddle and harness horses at from £10 to £31 10s. Also a large number of inferior light and heavy draughts at market rates. -
