Notices. _ Tiik Fkkgzing Company, Auckland. Rukuhia, September G, 1887. £ Enclosed plenso find order. . . In December I shall require a few tons good Bones and Superphosphate The Bones and Superphosphate supplied last year gave good results. Although a dry season I have a good crop of Swedes. The Corn Manure also gave good results on the growing Oats. A Yours truly, W. Gaudnku, Manager Hon. J. Williamson's Estate. G The Freezing Company, Auckland. Waitoa Estate, Waihou, September 2, 1887. I Your Manures were used upon this Estate for the Turnip crop last season at the rate of lewt. each of s Superphosphate 25 per cent, and Bonedust per acre. The results are very satisfactory, and the crop compares very favourably with that of the previous season, when Lawes' 36 per cent. Superphosphates were used at the same rates. Our Swede crop lias been carrying sheep at the rate of 160 per acre per week, and many of the roots weish up to 14lbs and 161bs. ° v Yeurs faithfully, G. L. Grant, Manager. Panmure, Ist July, 1887. The Freezing Company, Auckland. Dear Sirs,—l wish you to know that I am greatly pleased with the Manure which I had from you last March. You will remember that I intended to use Bonedust only, but on your recommendation, and a good i deal against my own inclination, I gave a 33-acre field of Swedes at my Te Awamutu farm a dressing of your J Special Dissolved Bone Manure. Ido not hesitate to say that the crop has been three times as heavy as I had v looked for—that is, three times as much as I had ever grown on the same paddock with any other Manures, c Many of the Swedes were 30 inches in circumference. I have also used your Grass Manure on new grass with « extraordinary results. The sheep running on this grass have improved very rapidly, and I consider that IJiave j realised better prices for them as a result of the use of the Manure. English Phosphates, costing me £5 per s ton mow, have not yielded me results to be compared with those I have had since using yours—which is ever r since your works started. You may make any use you like of this letter. t ' Yours truly, e Roger Kay. J CHEMICAL WORBST™^^?" I™,1™ , AUCKLAND.
