(.-Iriirman informed tho meeting (if what would be. {lit 1 , order of business, ami of what had been done about tho appointment of a resident minister. Ho said that it was not probable that a clergyman could be appointed for some time, unless a clergyman of private means, and able to do a very gre.it deal of riding, should conic to the diocese and offer to take the charge; until then the e'ergy of the Home Mission would continue to visit the district if it were desired by the congregation, They must endeavour to get entirely out of debt, and, if possible, have some money in hand, and then a resident minister would be started with a greater chance of the stipend being regularly paid. Tho animal statement of accounts was as follows • — Receipts : Cash, balance from last year, £2 Ss 2d ; offertories, £47 f = lid ; subscriptions, .1322 Is (id ; total, £72 2s 2d. Expenditure : Lute. Incumbent's stipend to June 30, ,L'oo ; Home Mission for services, £'■>; special offertory for Homo Mission, £2 .12s lid; Organist, £10 ; Verger, js); Insurance, £2 2-: sundries, Ins, Id ; balance iu hand, *8 i2s 7d ; total, fi?3 2s 2d. Assets cash. Balance £.S 12s 7d ; liabilities Organist 1S8I), £3 lis rtd Friar and Davis, £9; Home Mission, £<i organ, £(> 10s ; total, £21 His Bd. The chair man appointed Mr Dickeson as Minister's churchwarden, and Mr T. W. Davies was elected people's churchwarden Vestry : The following gentlemen were elected :—Messrs Burnett, Coombes, Nicholson, Rathborne and Soppctt. Mr Butcher was appointed auditor. It was resolved to contribute £2 10s to the Home Mission for each monthly visit of a Hume Mission clergyman. It was agreed to pay at once the balance of £0 10s due on the op'an. Special votes of thanks were given lay reader, Mr Burnett, the Sunday school teachers, and' otlier church officers. A long and agreeable conversation followed oil the work of the church generally, and the meeting separated,
