PEARSON, Hamilton East, Waikato. Waikato District Hospital, Hamilton, N.Z., | 12th Nov., 18S7. \ I have much pleasure in certifying to ! the value and powerful properties of Mr Pearson's Carbolic Sand Soap. It is 1 extensively used in the wards and offices 1 of the Waikato District Hospital. The ' carbolic acid contained in it acts as a perfect disinfectant, the sand answers the purposes of a good cleansing agent, and the whole substances are blended together into firm cakes of a very convenient size and shape For all domestic purposes I ean strongly recommend Mr Pearson's Carbolic Sand Soap, as being a most effective and economical article, and in houses where enteric or other fevers exist it will be found especially useful. The celebrity of its HOT SPRINGS r is extending throughout the length and breadth ol' the Colon}-, .and the WONDERFUL CURES. effected by the Waters in cases of RHEUMATISM, GOUT, LUMHAGO, LIVER, AND KIDNEY COMPLAINTS, INDIGESTION. and Kindred Ailments, are gratefully I testified to in the Visitors' Book by Hundreds of Persons who by their use have been icstored to Health and nil its enjoyments. The place is par excellence the Sanatorium of the People. The CLIMATE in its Hi£ALTH-GIVIMG PKOPERTIIvS is unsurpassed; tkCO.sl Ol 1 UVJXG is exceedingly MODERATE ; and the i locality is easy ot access by kiver, rail, OR 5 road, from Auckland and the Thames. In addition to these advantages there arc for the Robust abundant means of enjoyment in Boating, Riding, and Driving, while for those in delicate health the neatly laid out Domain forms a most pleasant resort. These Waters are all feebly alkaline and strongly charged with carbonic acid gas, which is constantly escaping from the Springs in large quantities. The Lithia. a valuable constituent of d these Waters, is present in an appreciable quantity. The Analyses show these Springs to be 1 very similar in composition. These Mineral Waters are exceedingly interesting, and will 1- prove of great value medicinally. They closely j. resemble some of the European Mineral Springs l fo justly celebrated, more especially those of Vichv, Ems, and Fachingen. Their Curative y Value will bo greatest in Klicumatic and Arth--10 ritic Diseases, Calculus, Affections ot the n Kidneys, and Dyspepsia. You may rest assured that all you can do for your Springs in the = shape of improving the facilities for their use, is B. entirely ustified by the character of the water. 8 ■° JAMES & g°NS, j ie Tailors and Habit Makers, PRE MIER BUI LDINGS, 5 ' (Between Hobson Hotel and Oram's Hotel), 11 ORSON-STREET, AUCKLAND, pAIU S QUEEN.
