Many of tile officers connected with the army, and also many officials, have been arrested on a charge of conspiracy. Paris, January 12. Tho offence for which .Judge Vigtieau, who heard the charges against M. Wilson, was dismissed from office, was for inviting witnesses for the prosecution to dins with him. January 13. At a large meeting of manufacturers held to-day tho Minister of Commerce presided. The meeting was called for the purpose of ascertaining tho number of exhibitors who intended to sond goods to the Melbourne Exhibition. There was a very large attendance, and great enthusiasm was shown, it being decided to ask the Government _ to warmly interest themselves in supporting tho Exhibition. Glasgow, January 13.
